Lost and Found

Margaret Murphy is a recovering alcoholic and a young high school teacher who has recently moved to the small coastal town of Mundy, Maine. She is hoping for a new start in life, a place to call home, but Mundy isn’t the peaceful and welcoming place that she had hoped it would be. Margaret is about to embark on a new school year. Before she is able to even begin to organize, the death of a young girl, who would have been her student, opens up old wounds for her and the town. She is determined to face all the challenges of new beginnings and stay sober but  finding it is a treacherous journey.

The wreckage of alcoholism has taken its toll on Mundy as well as
Margaret. The festering scab that covers an unhealing wound must be ripped away in order to excise the deadly infection. Taking this course will require Margaret to do the same in her personal life, as the two poisonous infections have the same causes and consequences.

Caught By God is a psychological drama uncovering the devastating consequences of sexual abuse and alcoholism. It also is about a journey in faith and hope.
